Kerry McGuinness Royer and her husband Matt write and illustrate children's books from their home in Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania where they live with their two sons, Luke and Finn. Kerry is a freelance writer, a Four Diamonds Fund Advisory Board member and a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Matt, also a SCBWI member, is the Director of the Lower Susquehanna Initiative for the Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center and president of the Tri-County Conewago Creek Association, a local watershed group. Kerry graduated from Penn State University with a degree in English. Matt is a graduate of Duke University School of Law and Dartmouth College where he majored in biology and studied painting.
